Memoirs
In this overwhelming world, thoughts of escape often linger. In creating this series, I navigated through a dark phase, artistically exploring my deepest wounds. I aimed to transform pain into a form of beauty, masking my hurt under layers of aesthetic expression. This series is a reflection of how we often conform, saying 'YES' when our hearts scream 'NO'. It's a portrayal of the fear that holds us back from expressing our true emotions to even our closest ones. Drawing upon memories of my childhood, past relationships, family, and friends, I gradually brought these elements to life. Using markers, I employed layers of colors, one over the other, to symbolize the intertwining of memories, creating a visual representation of how our past and present continuously intersect.
